SpaceX Set to Return Stranded Astronauts
The SpaceX Crew-10 mission to return stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams from the International Space Station (ISS) is set to launch on March 12 from Kennedy Space Center aboard Crew Dragon spacecraft Endurance.
Last June, the two NASA astronauts embarked on what was supposed to be a 10-day mission aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft as part of Crew-9 and have instead spent nearly nine months on the ISS due to technical issues with the Starliner.
Once Endurancearrives at the ISS, the two crews will swap locations with a planned departure of March 16 for Crew-9. During their stay on the ISS, Crew-10 members will conduct more than 200 scientific experiments and technology demonstrations.
Crew-10 consists of NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, mission specialist Takuya Onishi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov.
Southwest Florida Wrestlers Earn State Titles
Four Southwest Florida wrestlers from four schools captured state titles at the FHSAA State Wrestling Championships in Kissimmee on Saturday.
Mariner senior Maximus Brady made history, concluding a perfect high school postseason career with his fourth state title. In the Class 2A title match at 138 pounds, Brady pinned Lincoln’s Brady Jackson after one minute to finish the season unbeaten.
St. John Neumann’s Lincoln Sledzianowski became the program’s first state champion, while First Baptist’s Andres DiGrigoli and North Fort Myers’ Seth Tshiams also secured championships for their respective teams. See all the results here.
West Palm Beach Named Top Travel Destination
