Good Morning! On this day in 1978, football player Andra Davis was born in Live Oak. Davis played linebacker for 10 seasons in the NFL for Cleveland, Denver, and Buffalo.
For the fifth straight year, some Florida lawmakers are pushing to change the official state bird from the mockingbird to the flamingo. The effort appears to be gaining momentum this time around. Our Poll today asks how you feel about the change.

Just Eight Days Left in 2025—And a Decision That Matters
There are just eight days left in 2025, and our current Flyover funding round is set to close next month. More than 60% of the round is already subscribed, and once it’s filled, this opportunity will be gone.
We don’t want our most loyal readers to look back and realize they meant to participate—but missed the window.
As we head into 2026, a bigger question we are asking our readers is:
Are we really going to enter another year with the same tired, biased, politically motivated legacy media?
More celebrity journalists chasing clicks. More opinions disguised as reporting. More political agendas shaping coverage instead of facts.
Or are we going to charge ahead and make a meaningful change?
The Flyover was built on a simple but increasingly rare idea: Fact-based reporting, no political agenda, no spin, no outrage—just common-sense news for common-sense Americans.
Changing how millions of Americans get their news doesn’t happen automatically. It happens when readers step forward—not just to read, but to own and help build something better.
If you believe news should inform, not inflame… If The Flyover has become part of your daily routine… If you want to help shape the future of independent, fact-first journalism…
This is your opportunity to invest before the end of 2025 and before this round closes next month.
Will you do something big to finish out 2025? We’d love to welcome you as an owner as we head into 2026.
Epstein Document Release Draws Criticism
The U.S. Department of Justice released more documents Saturday from the Jeffrey Epstein files, after an initial release Friday of thousands of photos, police reports, and other material. The files include grand jury transcripts from Florida proceedings.
Some of the files are heavily redacted, drawing criticism from congressional Democrats and some Republicans who say Attorney General Pam Bondi is “inherent contempt” and that the House should hold the former Florida Attorney General accountable.
West Palm Beach Epstein survivor Jena-Lisa Jones called Friday’s DOJ file release the “bare minimum,” saying redactions and missing context hide decades of complaints and cover-ups.
On Sunday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche defended the department’s decision to release just a fraction of the files by the congressionally mandated deadline as necessary to protect survivors of the disgraced financier’s sexual abuse.
Christmas Drag Race Honors Greg Biffle
The sixth annual Christmas Tree Drag Race at Bradenton Park honored the late Greg Biffle. The retired NASCAR driver and his family were killed last week in a plane crash on their way to Sarasota to visit the event’s owner.
Garrett Mitchell, known as Cleetus McFarland online, confirmed that Biffle and his family were en route to his Freedom Factory drag strip and racetrack when the crash happened.
Some fans have suggested renaming the annual race in honor of Biffle, who was 55 years old. You can see a video from the race here.
Each vehicle in the competition is required to have a 6-foot, illuminated Christmas tree attached to its car for each pass down the track.
Hurricanes Advance to Cotton Bowl
The Miami Hurricanes secured a spot in the 2025 Cotton Bowl Classic, which will take place on Dec. 31 in Arlington, Texas. The ‘Canes will face No. 2-seeded Ohio State in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal game at AT&T Stadium.
The win gave Miami its first-ever College Football Playoff victory and silenced some doubters who questioned whether the team deserved a playoff berth after landing the last at-large spot over Notre Dame.
Miami’s path to the Cotton Bowl was shaped by a defining first-round win this past Saturday. The Hurricanes defeated the No. 7 seed Texas A&M Aggies in a 10-3 defensive battle at Kyle Field.
Miami’s defense held the Aggies to a single field goal while forcing critical turnovers. Mark Fletcher Jr. contributed a career-high 172 yards rushing.

When 14,000 investors show up before Wall Street
You rarely see a private company cross 14,000 investors before Wall Street even clocks what’s happening. RAD Intel has already done just that, with more than $60M raised, recurring 7-figure contracts in place across major brands and agencies, and a reserved Nasdaq ticker, $RADI, while still private.
This isn’t a concept-stage AI story. RAD Intel’s platform is already wired into real marketing budgets, helping brands decide where the next dollar performs best before they spend it. That edge is starting to show up in the business. Sales contracts are on track to double by the end of 2026. The company’s valuation has increased by more than 5,000% in approximately 5 years. Backed by multiple Fidelity funds and VCs, and selected by the Adobe Design Fund, RAD Intel attracts early investors—including operators from Google, Meta, YouTube, and Amazon—who spot inflection points early.
Through a qualified Reg A+ offering, shares are currently $0.85. On one side, you have traction that reads like an earnings call. On the other hand, a price that still lives in an early-stage window. Gaps between performance and price like that don’t usually stay open for long.

14,000 investors. Multiple 7-figure contracts. Still Private.
When 14,000+ investors step in before Wall Street, it usually means they’re seeing something the broader market hasn’t fully priced yet. RAD has raised $60M+, locked in a Nasdaq ticker, $RADI, all while still private. Even better? They’re pacing 2x sales growth heading into 2026.
