The FBI and the U.S. Secret Service are searching for whomever is responsible for constructing a hunting stand in a tree with a line of sight to Air Force One landing zone at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI).

The stand was found on Thursday during advance security preparations ahead of President Donald Trump’s Friday trip to Mar-a-Lago. The discovery of the stand led to the closure of Southern Boulevard between Congress Avenue and Military Trail on Saturday.

Sources said the stand was set up months ago based on its condition and was across from a part of the airport that had not been used in the past year due to construction.

No trespassing signs posted outside the Undertow, a popular St. Pete Beach bar, have sparked a debate among community members about who owns the beach.

The Gulf Boulevard bar put up several signs informing beachgoers that a section of sand behind the bar is private beach. According to the signs, no alcohol, coolers, tents, umbrellas, chairs, or dogs are allowed on the property and all bags are subject to search.

Photos of the signs surfaced on social media, drawing angry comments from people questioning whether the bar has the right to police the beach, especially so close to the water’s edge.

Ralf Brookes, the interim city attorney for St. Pete Beach, said the city is working to preserve public use of the land in question.

Doug Martin, a former running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders, has died at the age of 36.

In a statement on Sunday, the Buccaneers said they were “deeply saddened to learn of the sudden and unexpected passing” of Martin, who died Saturday morning. The cause of death is unconfirmed.

“From his record-setting rookie season in 2012 to his multiple Pro Bowl selection during his six seasons as a Buccaneer, Doug made a lasting impact on our franchise, the statement read. “We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and everyone whom Doug touched throughout his life.”

Martin was a first-round draft pick out of Boise State in 2012 and set several franchise records as a rookie for the Bucs, when he rushed for 1,454 yards to earn a Pro Bowl berth. Martin finished his career with 5,356 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns.

From a Caltech Garage to a $1 Trillion Market

In 2016, some innovative Caltech robotics students set out to transform fast food. That first garage-built prototype became Miso Robotics.

Since then, Miso’s robots have worked 200K+ hours in live kitchens for brands like White Castle, frying 4M+ baskets of fries, chicken, and more. That traction convinced NVIDIA, Uber AI, and Amazon to help refine Miso’s AI and robots. As restaurants grapple with 144% employee turnover rates and $20/hour minimum wages, that’s a major edge.

No wonder Miso’s first fully commercial robot, Flippy Fry Station, sold out initial units in one week.

Now, Miso’s leveraging its new manufacturing partnership to scale US-based production nationwide across a $4B annual revenue opportunity.
