Question: What Florida River has tea-colored water?
Answer: Suwannee River
The generally tranquil flow of the blackwater river (actually a rusty tea-color) is caused by tannic acids released by decaying vegetation in the water. Suwannee River is the only major waterway in the southeastern United States that is still unspoiled. The Suwannee flows from the Okefenokee Swamp in southern Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico in Florida.
