Question: The official state beverage of Florida is orange juice. What is the official beverage of 22 of the other 27 states that have one?

Answer: Milk

In 1965, Ohio became the first state to adopt an official beverage: tomato juice. Two years later, Florida selected orange juice, and Massachusetts went with cranberry juice in 1970.

For a while, it seemed as though each state would pay tribute to locally grown products when selecting its official beverage. Instead, of the 28 U.S. states and two territories that have joined the ranks since 1965, 22 of them have chosen milk.
