Question: Where in Florida was a settlement known as Lemon City in the late 1800s and early 1900s?

Answer: Miami

Lemon City was a pioneer community on Biscayne Bay in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It was never an actual city with a government and boundaries, but it did have a post office, school, etc. Lemon City became part of Miami in 1925, and today is known as Little Haiti.
