Question: Where in Florida does the End of the Line mural tell a tale of local history with an outdoor painting of Isaac Trabue and a locomotive?

Answer: Punta Gorda

Punta Gorda’s history is out in the open in a series of over 30 murals spread across town that showcase pivotal, poetic, and unexpected moments from bygone eras that have come to shape the town. Ironically, it all started with one mural titled End of the Line. This two-paneled mural depicts Isaac Trabue, a wealthy former Confederate colonel, who purchased and subdivided 30 acres along Charlotte Harbor in 1884 that would begin the development of the town.
