Good Morning! On this day in 2005, Hurricane Wilma made landfall near Cape Romano in Collier County as a Category 3 storm with 120 mph winds. Days earlier, it had been the most intense Atlantic hurricane on record.
A business owner in Orlando says he’s getting spam calls “about every two minutes,” despite being on the National Do Not Call Registry. “So by the time I hang up with one and get them to hang up, I’m on a call with another one,” he said Learn more in Et Cetera.
What are the best and worst grocery stores? Texas swears by H-E-B. Florida won’t hear a bad word about Publix. California gave the country Trader Joe’s. What about Walmart, Albertsons, and Costco? Only one of them can be America’s top-rated supermarket. More than 31,000 shoppers graded the nation’s biggest grocery chains, and the results can be polarizing. Is your weekly grocery store on the best list or the worst? Ayla has the countdown on today’s Flyover Podcast. Tune in and pick a side.

Border Agents Seen Near Polling Sites
Election supervisors in Leon and Monroe counties have contacted the FBI after federal border agents appeared at or near early voting sites this week.
In Tallahassee, two Customs and Border Protection vehicles parked outside the county’s busiest early voting site for about 10 minutes Monday. Supervisor Mark Earley said his office got no calls from voters about it.
On Tuesday in Key Largo, masked agents stopped a vehicle near the entrance to an early voting site. Monroe County Supervisor Sherri Hodies has opened an investigation.
Federal law bars armed federal agents from polling places except to repel armed enemies of the United States. ICE and the Florida Department of State didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Earley, who had been assured by federal partners this wouldn’t happen, called it “very unfortunate” but said he’d be “very surprised if it happened again.”

King Tides, Heavy Rain Threaten South Florida
South Florida is bracing for flooding this weekend as heavy rain and gusty winds arrive alongside the season’s highest king tides.
Forecasters say some areas could see 5 to 7 inches of rain over 48 hours, with Sunday gusts topping 40 mph. The East Coast metro, from Port St. Lucie to northern Miami, faces a level 2 of 4 flash flood risk today.
The tide cycle runs through Oct. 30, peaking Tuesday on the East Coast and Oct. 28 and 30 in the Keys. When high tide meets heavy rain, rainwater struggles to drain.
In Hollywood, the city and local businesses installed flood barriers ahead of the weekend.

Rays Stadium Deal Faces Key Vote
As the Rays play in the World Series, Tampa City Council is set to vote Thursday on a community benefits agreement required to finalize the team’s $2.36 billion stadium deal.
Under the agreement, the Rays promise affordable housing, minority jobs, and youth sports fields. Hillsborough County separately plans a Nov. 10 vote on using sales taxes for its $796 million share.
Last week, the council approved $80 million in city bonds 4-3, but only after Council Member Bill Carlson, home sick, joined by video to break a 3-3 tie.
Mayor Jane Castor told critics that “people just need to get on board.” Council Member Charlie Miranda, a no vote, asked whether the benefits deal was done before moving ahead.
The balance could shift soon: supporter Luis Viera resigns Nov. 2 to run for the state House, leaving the council split 3-3.
