Good Morning! On this day in 1931, a jury convicted Al Capone of tax evasion. Prosecutors used his Palm Island estate in Miami Beach as proof of his untaxed income, and after prison, Scarface retired there until his death in 1947.
Patients are in disbelief after a highly regarded surgeon in The Villages was jailed in an alleged wine theft at Costco. See today’s Around Florida for how he allegedly pulled it off. For the rest of us, Costco means rotisserie chickens and free samples. What’s your favorite part? Vote in today’s Poll.
Some of the most trusted drinks in your fridge have a health reputation they never earned. That reputation shapes what you pour at breakfast, grab after a workout, and hand to your kids, yet most people don’t check the label. The gaps are bigger than you’d think, including a “gut health” brand that paid millions to settle a lawsuit over its claims and a glass toasted as heart-healthy for 30 years. So how many are in your fridge right now? On today’s episode of The Flyover Podcast, Amy goes in depth to count down the 10 worst drinks that sound healthy but aren’t. Tune in here!
Flying cars are getting closer to everyday life, and today’s sponsor, Doroni, is giving investors a chance to get involved. With a share price change coming after October 22, there’s still time to invest at the current price. Get the details below.

Trump Rally Headed to Fort Myers
President Trump will hold a midterm campaign rally in Fort Myers on Friday, Oct. 23, less than two weeks before Election Day.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. ET, and Trump is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. His team hasn’t publicly announced a venue.
The same day, Florida Gulf Coast University is shifting most campus operations to remote formats for a “large-scale, private event” at Alico Arena. The school wouldn’t say what the event is or who’s invited.
The rally lands in the district of U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds, the Republican nominee for governor. Statewide early voting starts the next day.

Mosquito Control Pilot Killed in Crash
A Manatee County Mosquito Control helicopter hit a private radio tower and crashed Thursday night in Myakka City, killing its 63-year-old pilot.
Residents pulled the pilot from the wreckage, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second county helicopter spraying nearby landed safely.
Sheriff’s officials said the tower sat in someone’s backyard and wasn’t lit, though it wasn’t required to be. Federal investigators are looking into what caused the crash.
The pilot, Isaac “Ike” Moore, served more than three decades as a Columbus, Ohio, police officer. The crash comes as Florida battles its largest outbreak of locally transmitted dengue fever.

9/11 Whales Head for the Gulf
After 25 years in a Tallahassee front yard, a pod of four humpback whale sculptures is set to migrate dozens of miles over land to Panacea.
Bill Brinson sculpted the pod as a 9/11 tribute, and the four whales are named Glory, Hope, Faith, and Grace.
Gulf Specimen Marine Lab founder Jack Rudloe saw the pod in a TV profile last month and asked owner William Green if he could have them. Green was sold.
Rudloe, who already has a swordfish and an octopus in his roadside display, envisions a “terrestrial ocean” with jumping whales, migrating fish, and a mermaid. The hope is to move them in November.
