State Details New Social Media Rules
Officials released details on how the state will carry out a new law taking effect Jan. 1 that keeps children off social media platforms and blocks minors from accessing online pornography.
On Tuesday, the Florida Attorney General’s office published three proposed rules that address one of the law’s most closely opposed issues: age verification.
The rules require that social media platforms perform “reasonable” age verification and “reasonable” parental verification. They also add more definition to the types of platforms, algorithms, videos, and communication affected.
The law, which Gov. Ron DeSantis signed in late March, does not identify the specific social media platforms that would be affected by the restrictions.

Schools Get Their 2024 Grades
Florida schools have continued to improve, according to the Florida Department of Education, which released grades for state schools on Wednesday based on an updated school grading scale.
Nearly 1,300 schools, or 64%, earned an “A” grade, marking a six percentage point increase over 2023. Additionally, the number of schools earning “D” or “F” grades decreased, with 81 fewer schools earning a “D” and 17 fewer schools earning an “F.”
Florida’s charter schools also saw improvements. Of the 602 charter schools with a grade, 69% received an “A” or “B” in 2024.

Did you know that what you eat for breakfast, sets the tone for your body for the rest of the day?
The common belief is the timing of when you eat in the morning is everything when it comes to maintaining a healthy weight, however, this is simply not true.
It’s important to understand that the type of food you eat in the morning is what allows you to have more energy, sharper focus, healthier weight, smoother skin, and better digestion.
What’s really shocking is that Americans are learning that what they thought was a “healthy breakfast” is actually leading to poor digestion and weight gain.
