Good Morning! On this day in 1821, Spain transferred Florida to the U.S., marking its change to an American territory. This followed the Adams-Onís Treaty of 1819, which granted the U.S. both East and West Florida and required it to assume up to $5 million in claims by its citizens against Spain.
Today’s sponsor is Miso Robotics, offering investors the opportunity to get in early on an AI-powered restaurant automation company before it goes public.

Indictment Adds Third Lauderhill Murder
A Broward County grand jury has indicted Gregory DaSilva, 26, on three counts of first-degree premeditated murder in a series of Lauderhill killings.
The indictment adds one count of attempted first-degree murder, replacing an earlier aggravated assault charge. Victims Mesilien Pierre, 36, and Wilford White, 68, were fatally stabbed on June 30; Jeffrey Standifer, 51, was found dead in his home on July 5.
An arrest report says DaSilva told a doctor “evil voices” instructed him to kill. He remains in custody at the Broward County Jail.

Navy Reviews Blue Angels Beach Flyover
The Blue Angels are conducting a safety review after a jet flew low over a packed Pensacola Beach crowd on Wednesday, sending tents, chairs, and umbrellas flying.
The pass came during Breakfast with the Blues, the kickoff to Pensacola Beach Air Show week. The Navy said the jet “flew lower than standard profiles” during an arrival maneuver. No injuries were reported.
I literally thought we were going to be taken out by Blue Angels, but it was amazing, beachgoer Ashley Korn said.
The squadron, marking its 80th anniversary at its Naval Air Station Pensacola home, headlines the show through Saturday.

Mystery Blast Recorded off Florida Coast
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a magnitude-3.9 “experimental explosion” in the Atlantic about 91 miles east-northeast of Ponce Inlet around 3 p.m. on Thursday.
The agency said the recorded ground motions were “more typical of an explosion” than a natural earthquake, noting the Navy has conducted ship shock trials in the region. The Navy had not responded to inquiries on Thursday evening.
In 2021, a Navy shock trial testing the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford registered as a nearly identical 3.9-magnitude blast about 100 miles off the same stretch of coast.

Big Money Gets In Pre-IPO in AI
AI stocks now make up about 45% of the S&P 500. But, in AI, the smart money increasingly moves sooner because the biggest breakout gains often happen when investors get in before companies go public. In fact, last year, a whopping 67% of private-stage investments were in AI companies, up from 9% in 2022.
And yet, those opportunities are almost always reserved for the 1%.
Restaurant robotics pioneer Miso Robotics isn’t, and 40K everyday folks like you have already joined big money players like industry powerhouse Ecolab as investors.
Miso’s Flippy Fry Station AI robot has logged 200K+ hours in kitchens across the $1T fast-food industry. Its tech is used by big-name customers like White Castle, Jersey Mike’s, Cinnabon, and more. And Miso just acquired ~300 patents from Zume Pizza, a food robotics pioneer that raised $450 million.
Flippy alone represents a $4B/year revenue opportunity in the US. Become an early-stage shareholder in Miso today. Hurry to earn bonus shares.
