Question: Where was Florida’s historic Imeson Airport located?

Answer: Jacksonville:

Jacksonville Municipal Airport No. 1 was renamed for Thomas Cole Imeson on July 26, 1948. Tom Imeson had been a Jacksonville city commissioner for many years. Before that he was a curio dealer and a Pablo Beach city councilman. The last passenger flight left Imeson Airport on October 26, 1968 and the airlines moved to the new Jacksonville International Airport located 7 miles to the north.
