FINAL HOURS! The Flyover Investment Round Closes Tomorrow
A few months ago, we set out on a mission: to offer ownership opportunities to our readers—now more than 4 million strong. You are one of those readers and we are incredibly grateful. Without you, we wouldn’t be the company we are today.
But here’s the deal: we have only hours left.
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment to step in and be one of the final investors in The Flyover. Together, we can finish strong.
With only hours left, we want to answer one final question we hear most often from readers and potential investors:
How do I get a return on my investment?
We believe in being direct.
Like all investments, this carries risk. But here’s what makes The Flyover different: we have already reached profitability after just two years. That puts The Flyover in a very small group of media startups, many of which never reach profitability at all.
There are three primary ways investors may realize a return:
1️⃣ A Sale A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we’d only consider partners who respect our values and our readers.
2️⃣ A Public Listing While we’re private today, a future public listing would give investors the ability to buy and sell shares on an open market.
3️⃣ Profit Distributions (Dividends) Because The Flyover is already profitable, unlike most startups, distributions are a real possibility as the business continues to grow.
To recap: 1. Sale. 2. Listing. 3. Distributions.
Now, the most important part.
This investment round closes tomorrow. Not days. Hours.
Once it closes, it’s closed.
If you’ve been considering investing; if you’ve been watching from the sidelines, this is your final opportunity to join us as an owner of The Flyover.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday that Florida will participate in the Trump administration’s federal Education Freedom Tax Credit, further expanding the state’s already nation-leading school choice system, with roughly 1.4 million students.
The move allows Florida families to direct up to $1,700 of their federal tax liability to state-approved scholarship-granting organizations—such as private schools—rather than the federal government. This will supplement existing state scholarships that average about $8,000 per student.
DeSantis said the program will build on Florida’s universal school choice law and could prove transformative in states without similar options. Florida joins 23 other mainly GOP-led states that have opted into the tax credit under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
“What we don’t want is the schools to simply see this money is there and raise the tuition. That’s not what we want. We want the parents to actually benefit, so we’ll be watching that,” DeSantis said.
Florida Athletes Headed to the Winter Olympics
Team USA released its full, 232-athlete roster for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which kicks off one week from today in Italy. Seven athletes from Florida will represent the U.S. and are part of the largest U.S. Winter Olympics team in history.
Of the seven athletes, five are returning Olympians. Brett Bolton, from Rockledge, makes his debut in sled hockey, while Andrew Torgashev, from Coral Springs, will compete in figure skating.
Three-time gold medal winner and Paralympian Declan Farmer, from Tampa, returns for his fourth Olympics to defend his legacy in sled hockey, while Josh Williamson, from Sanford, will battle for bobsled glory.
Two Ocala hometown heroes, two-time bronze medalist Brittany Bowe and gold medalist Erin Jackson, return to the ice seeking additional speedskating medals. They are joined by teammate, bronze medalist Mia Manganello, who hails from Crestview.
Personal finance resource GOBankingRates found that Palm Beach has the fastest-growing housing market in Florida. After analyzing 7,500 of the largest U.S. markets with above-average home value growth, five cities in each state were identified as likely to offer the highest return on investment.
Palm Beach’s median home value in October 2025 was $9,815,790, representing a 118.2% increase in 5 years. As of Dec. 2025, Zillow reported a median list price just above $2 million.
Four more high-value growth cities in the Sunshine State include Wauchula (No. 2), which saw a 64.8% change in home values over 5 years, with a median home value of $235,107. Old Town (No. 3) in Dixie County had a median home value of $207,787, and a 48% increase over 5 years.
South Bay (No. 4) and Bell (No. 5) rounded out the list of five places in Florida where homes are increasing in value the most. These destinations are also significantly more affordable than Palm Beach, with home values below $300,000.
