Own The Flyover

One Week In—And We’re Just Getting Started

After the first week, I want to update you and thank you.

We are truly humbled by the incredible response to our reader-owned investment opportunity.

In just one week:

  • Over $600,000 has already been raised
  • More than $1.26 million is currently in our investment funnel
  • 300,000+ shares have been sold

This has exceeded our expectations—and it’s proof that readers like you believe in building a new kind of news.  Thank you!

A quick reminder:

  • Our 10% bonus shares end after the first $1 million is raised.
  • Flyover readers get an additional 5% bonus shares on top of that.

Why does this matter? Because legacy media is failing. They’ve traded trust for clicks, personalities, and corporate agendas. We saw that vacuum—and we filled it. The Flyover exists to deliver fact-first, common-sense news for common-sense Americans, with no corporate boss to answer to. Our only boss is you, our readers.

And now, you can own it.

Shares are just $2 each with a minimum investment of $750. Rarely do readers have the opportunity to own the news they trust. We’d be honored to have you join us and help shape the future of The Flyover.

Invest today and be part of the movement.

Article Icon 1Florida Joins Redistricting Push

House Speaker Daniel Perez said Florida lawmakers will work on redrawing the state’s congressional district lines ahead of the 2026 midterms, as other states are doing. In July, the Florida Supreme Court upheld a congressional map drawn by Gov. Ron DeSantis and approved by the legislature.

The Miami Republican wrote in a memo that the court’s decision raises questions “about the applicability and interpretation of certain provisions of the so-called ‘Fair Districts’ provisions of the Florida Constitution and their intersection with Federal law.”

Perez said the House will name a Select Committee on Congressional Redistricting in September, the same time as other committee assignments for the 2026 legislative session.

The state currently has 20 Republican U.S. House members and 8 Democratic representatives.

Article Icon 1Food Stamps Banned from ‘Junk Food’ Purchases

Starting Jan. 1, Florida’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients can no longer use their food stamp benefits to buy soda, energy drinks, candy, or prepared desserts.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture signed the waiver, approving the changes for Florida’s program. Florida’s new restrictions are being touted as part of President Trump’s efforts to Make America Healthy Again.

In Florida, we are ensuring SNAP supports nutritious options that help families thrive, not unhealthy products that lead to long-term health problems. Thank you to President Trump for approving our waiver request,” Gov. Ron DeSantis said.

SNAP provides food benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget. No SNAP household in Florida may opt out of the SNAP-eligible food restrictions.

Article Icon 1Proposed Exclusion for Sex Predators

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier proposed a new law to prevent sex predators from “obtaining kids,” called the Protecting Kids from Predators Pursuing Parenthood Act.

Children should not bear the risk of being handed over to predators or abusers, whether through surrogacy, adoption, or foster care,” Uthmeier wrote in a social media post.

A draft of the proposed legislation has not been released. Uthmeier said it will prevent people who abuse animals as well, saying, “If you abuse animals, you have no purpose becoming a new parent.
